Join us
AMYC has a proud and successful history of competitions, with several members having won numerous State, National and World titles.
We are affiliated with Australian Sailing and participate with other yacht clubs along the coast. During the summer months, sailing is conducted most Sundays.
If sailing is not your thing, then we have plenty of other reasons for you to join up. We have a great fishing group with regular activities, surfers, runners and people who just want the social engagement that goes with being a member.

AMYC CLUBHOUSE UPGRADE
Our exciting new clubhouse was officially opened on 4th December 2022.
From the outset, our objective was to maintain the ‘quaintness’ of the old building while at the same time enhancing the functionality and size. Internally we have vastly improved kitchen facilities. We have a new Rusty Anchor Bar facility, a lift, as well as an upgrade of the downstairs showers, toilets and increased storage space for our rescue boat and other summer services (Life Saving Patrol base).
The development would not have been possible without the sustained effort of the committee and members, as well as the many very generous donations.
